Value Engineering Workshop Successfully Conducted for Kuwait National Railway GCC Component Project

A comprehensive Value Engineering Workshop for the Kuwait Railway GCC Component (111 km) Project has been successfully conducted in collaboration between the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) and PROYAPI Engineering and Consultancy Inc.

The workshop, held from June 15th to 19th, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kuwait, was facilitated by Alyousefi Value Engineering Company. The session aimed to evaluate and enhance the project’s technical and economic performance, aligning with international best practices in railway infrastructure planning.

Key attendees from PART and PROYAPI participated in an intensive series of sessions focused on optimizing design alternatives, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the 111 km railway segment a vital component of the regional GCC railway network.

The outcomes of the workshop are expected to contribute significantly to the refinement of the project’s concept and detailed design phases, reinforcing Kuwait’s commitment to strategic transport development and regional connectivity.
